White labelling lets teams put their own stamp on Edworking. Instead of using the default Edworking branding, business customers can upload a company logo, define a custom workspace name and even choose their own sub‑domain (e.g., yourcompany.edworking.com
). When white labelling is enabled, this branding appears consistently across the platform – in the navigation bar, on meeting call pages and on public share links for files and docs. According to Edworking’s official guide, white labelling (also called “private labelling”) allows premium users to brand the platform as their own by customising the platform’s logo and sub‑domain name. In short, it’s a way to make Edworking feel like your own product while still leveraging its collaboration features.
Where your brand appears
Once a team logo and name have been set, Edworking displays them in several key places:
Navigation and dashboards – your logo replaces the default Edworking icon in the top left of every workspace page.
Meeting rooms – when you host a video call, the meeting room shows your custom logo above the video tiles so participants see your company brand throughout the call.
Public share links for docs and files – any time you share a document or file externally, the branded header on the share page uses your logo and workspace name so clients and partners know it’s from you.
The navigation screenshot below shows the default Edworking interface. When white labelling is enabled, your logo appears in place of the coloured Edworking icon in the top left. This branding carries over to dashboards, chats and other pages:
Requirements for White Labelling
White labelling is a premium feature. To use it you need an Edworking Business account. Only team administrators (workspace owners) can configure branding. If you are on a Free or Pro plan, you can still invite teammates and collaborate, but you will not see the options for uploading a logo or choosing a custom URL. Upgrading to Business unlocks these settings.
Updating your team logo and name
Changing your workspace branding takes just a few steps:
Open Preferences – after logging in to Edworking, click your profile avatar in the top‑right corner and choose Preferences. This opens the Profile settings window.
Navigate to the Team tab – in the Profile window, select the Team tab. You will see a sidebar on the left with sections such as General, Members, Plans & Billing and Notifications & Emails.
Upload your logo and edit your name – under the General section you can:
Click Change Logo to upload a PNG or JPG up to 1 MB. A preview box shows where your logo will appear.
Enter your Team name in the text field. This name appears throughout the workspace.
Optionally change your Custom URL if you have a Business plan. This sets the sub‑domain for your workspace (e.g.,
app.yourcompany.edworking.com
). Edworking’s official guide notes that after updating the domain name you will need to log back in to see the change.
Save changes – click Update at the bottom of the page to apply your new branding. Your logo and name will be reflected immediately within the workspace and in future meeting rooms and share pages.
Example of the Team settings page
The Team settings page under Preferences → Team → General shows all the options for white labelling. You’ll find the logo upload area, team name field, custom URL field and a short note explaining what white labelling does and that it’s only available on Business plans. Use a high‑resolution logo with a transparent background for best results. The settings sidebar also contains sections for managing team members, billing plans and notification preferences.
White‑labelled meeting rooms
Edworking’s meeting rooms adopt your branding automatically. When you start a call from the Meets section or launch a video conference from chat, your logo appears above the participant tiles. External guests joining via a meeting link also see your logo, which reinforces your company identity. The controls for muting, screen sharing and switching cameras remain the same; the only difference is the branded header. The screenshot below (from a demo account) illustrates how your logo is displayed during a call:
White‑labelled share links
Whenever you share a document or file from Edworking using the Share button, the platform generates a public URL. On the share page, your workspace logo and name appear at the top alongside the document title. This helps clients and partners immediately recognise the source of the document. Although we cannot display a real share page here due to privacy restrictions, the principle is the same as in meeting rooms: your brand replaces Edworking’s default logo on every public page.
Tips and best practices
Use a square logo with a transparent background to ensure it looks good on both light and dark interfaces.
Keep your team name short – long names may wrap awkwardly in the navigation bar or email headers.
Choose a memorable custom URL (only on Business plans) that matches your corporate domain. For example,
acme.edworking.com
is easier to remember than a random string.Inform your team about the new URL – after changing the sub‑domain, all members must log in via the new address. Edworking’s documentation emphasises that you will need to log in again to see the change.
Check your branding on different devices – open a meeting room and a shared document on mobile and desktop to ensure your logo scales correctly.
Conclusion
White labelling transforms Edworking into your own branded workspace. By uploading your logo, choosing a team name and (on Business plans) selecting a custom URL, you ensure that everything from everyday dashboards to external meeting rooms reflects your company identity. The process is straightforward – just a few clicks in the Team preferences – and the benefits are immediate. With your brand front and centre on every call, doc and share link, Edworking becomes a seamless extension of your organisation.
